Discover works by Danish and international artists.
Sensuous and thought-provoking experiences are created here, both indoors in the bright exhibition halls and outdoors in the oasis Møllers Have, summer and winter. Skagen Kunsthus is a vibrant setting for art, reflection and fascination – where everyone is invited.
The house rests on a history: built as a judge's residence in 1893, rebuilt in 1909 by Ulrik Plesner and recently transformed into an art house in 2024/25. Here, changing exhibitions unfold in the rooms, which are imbued with both historical gravitas and modern spirit.
In the exhibitions, you'll encounter international artists such as Picasso, Andy Warhol, Asger Jorn, Per Kirkeby, Tal R, and John Kørner, creating a strong bridge to Skagen's artistic heritage.
In Møller's Garden, you'll find a green oasis in the heart of the city – here you can stroll among sculptures, enjoy a rest under the old copper beech, and let your thoughts wander freely. The Art House Kiosk offers memorable souvenirs and refreshments, perfect for rounding off your visit with peace and reflection.
Skagen Art Gallery wishes to open its doors to both locals and tourists – and perhaps reignite artists' interest in the town. The town's magical light inspired the Skagen Painters, and continues now as a source of modern creativity.
