Christopher went to the film - in Strandby
Among Danish artists, there aren't many as popular as singer Christopher. Throughout the 2010s and the first half of the 2020s, he has mesmerised his ever-growing fan base from the biggest Danish stages.
In 2023, the fair-haired charmer went to the cinema in earnest. After a supporting role in the film 'Tuscany', Christopher starred in the Netflix production 'A Beautiful Life' - much of which was shot in Strandby.
The harbour town is the perfect setting for the film's protagonist Elliot, a young fisherman who suddenly turns out to be a huge musical talent. Christopher plays the lead role of Elliot, and for that performance, he received a lot of praise from the critics.
It turned out that the film was also in demand among Netflix viewers. In its first four days on the streaming service, "A Beautiful Life" was watched by more than 16.7 million users in the more than 60 countries where Netflix is seen worldwide.
So suddenly Strandby was put on the world map by singer Christopher, who in various scenes sorts lobsters and works at the harbour in Strandby. And sings his way to the big stages.
