If you love engines, you've come to the right place! The engine room offers a fascinating collection of historical artefacts from the world of fishing, agriculture and industry.

Here you can experience old dinghies, historic engines and fishing effects that give a unique insight into how fishing life has evolved over the decades.

The engine room opened in May 2021, and behind the museum is a group of passionate enthusiasts who have test-driven and restored the old engines themselves. Each engine has been lovingly restored so that they can now become living exhibits.

The exhibition is constantly expanding with new and interesting artefacts. Highlights include up to 120 classic motorcycles and 80 mopeds that have been restored with great care and respect for the passage of time.

A special experience in the Engine Room is hearing the old engines start up. For many, the sound evokes nostalgic memories of the rhythm of fishing life at sea, while others dream of adventures on the open blue expanses.
