Skagen Winter Bathing Festival – a winter experience in Skagen's beautiful nature!

The Skagen Winter Swimming Festival is an annual event in North Jutland that attracts winter swimmers from all over Scandinavia for a long weekend in Skagen. With up to 400 participants, winter swimming in Skagen has become a strong tradition and Skagen VinterbaderFestival is now the leading event for winter swimmers in Vendsyssel. The festival offers a combination of culture, nature and community for anyone looking for a unique winter experience in Denmark.

At the Skagen Winter Bathing Festival, you enter the water directly from the beach and the wood-fired saunas are ready – so you can quickly get warm again. Divers will be present in the water to ensure a safe environment and advise on wind and weather conditions, so everyone can fully enjoy the experience.
