The Skagen Winter Swimming Festival is an annual event in North Jutland that attracts winter swimmers from all over Scandinavia for a long weekend in Skagen. With up to 400 participants, winter swimming in Skagen has become a strong tradition and Skagen VinterbaderFestival is now the leading event for winter swimmers in Vendsyssel. The festival offers a combination of culture, nature and community for anyone looking for a unique winter experience in Denmark.

After a fantastic festival in 2025, where hot tubs and ice tubs were introduced to the festival site for the first time, the success will continue in 2026! At Skagen VinterbaderFestival, you can enter the water directly from the beach and the wood-fired saunas are ready for you to get warm again quickly. Divers will be present in the water to ensure a safe environment and provide advice on wind and weather conditions so that everyone can fully enjoy the experience.
